Dear Residents and KCC Election Candidates,
Our Association is offering candidates for the forthcoming County election the chance to be seen and heard on our website. As an apolitical group we are inviting all candidates to send us a 3 minute (no longer) video stating their position on local issues; namely the proposed Otterpool Park New Town, the Lorry Park, Princes Parade and other smaller developments across Shepway, A brief profile would also be helpful for all of our voters.
In addition, we would ask candidates to submit, in 250 words or less, the same in script.
The timescale is critical, with a deadline date of Friday, 7th April.
We suspect that many candidates are not signed up to our database, so would therefore ask friends, families and colleagues to spread the word to all candidates to contact us.
We will also be inviting candidates to speak at our Giant Rally on the 22nd April
Once again, the deadline date for this will be 7th April.
Please spread the word on social media, ensuring that our prospective representatives have the opportunity to reach out to the Shepway electorate.
