Subject: FW: There's still time to make representations on the Shepway Core Strategy!

Shepway District Council has published the proposed plan for the long-term future development of the area, the Core Strategy.

The Shepway Core Strategy (Proposed Submission) Document has been out for comment and the period to make representations lasts until Friday 23rd September 2011. This is a reminder email following earlier formal notification (see below).

In order to make representations and to view the proposed submission documents or the range of supporting evidence, please see http://consult.shepway.gov.uk/portal/core_strategy/cspropsubdocconsult (using the blue 'Read and Comment' link two thirds down). Thank you if you have already commented – many of the representations made so far against particular parts of the Core Strategy can be seen on the portal website (via the above link).

To ensure your views are expressed in the most effective way please use the website or the representations form -which is available on the link below or by emailing  planning.policy@shepway.gov.uk. The website and the representations form are structured so that they relate comments to the government’s self tests for the Core Strategy.

Comments should be made in writing and received by 23rd September 17.00hrs. Further information on the Proposed Submission process and guidance documents are available on: http://www.shepway.gov.uk/currentconsultation.

If you have questions over the process, or viewing the document and supporting reports, or are facing difficulty commenting by 23rd September please call (01303) 853266 / 853318 or email to see how we can assist.
