Dear Residents,

It would do no harm and may help if many of you could email the new cabinet, as I have, as soon as possible this week, to appeal for their intervention to stop this terrible waste of £250m on a monstrous lorry park unfit for purpose, which has been rushed through by their cabinet predecessors.
I suggest keeping it brief and to the point, including words to the effect of:
- waste of £250m allocated by Osborne in knee-jerk reaction
- ill- conceived and rushed proposal by HE
- carbuncle on the Garden of England
- catastrophic to the environment
- unprecedented and unknown air pollution - resulting 2.5 particulates could kill
- most importantly it won't fix stack (Eurotunnel, Port of Dover and even the TSC object to it)
- explain why whoever you are writing to could better use the money
- touch on the smarter options if you like
- impress on them how urgent this is as Statutory Consultation imminent

I've emailed the following on redirected addresses or online forms as instructed:
Theresa May, mayt@parliament.uk
Phillip Hammond, public.enquiries@hmtreasury.gsi.gov.uk
