STATEMENT FROM STEPHEN PRIESTLEY.

Dear 8th June Voters,

Stephen Priestley has set out his reasons why you should be placing a cross next to his name on the 8th June.

Dear Constituents,

It is VITAL for the following reasons that you elect a UKIP MP on 8.6.17. Folkestone and Hythe voted in last year's referendum by a margin of 62.2% to LEAVE the EU. Damian Collins, the current incumbent, voted to REMAIN. Theresa May has not even begun negotiations regarding Brexit and appears to be backsliding in key areas. Stephen Priestley has emphasised the following key reasons why you should vote for him:

  • Firstly, I will be utterly committed to achieving the best possible Brexit outcomes, even if by necessity working within a Tory-dominated government. I will not support the implementation of further cruel Tory policies, eg. taxing elderly to fund social care, means-testing of the winter fuel allowance and scapping of free school meals.
  • Secondly, I will work tirelessly for constituents, ensuring GP access and campaigning vigorously to secure improvements with other key services such as fairer and improved access to housing and mental health care, and supporting people actively at constituency surgeries.
  • Thirdly, and in stark contrast to Mr Damian Collins, I will work unstintingly to ensure that Shepway District Council's plans on Otterpool New Town, Stanford Lorry Park and Princes Parade and other proposed acts of vandalism are STOPPED in their tracks - it is abundantly clear that all these developments would desecrate the rural environment, and not have the required infrastructure requirements in place to shoulder a projected 41% increase in the Shepway Population.

PLEASE VOTE FOR A PROSPECTIVE MP WHO WILL TRULY SERVE YOUR INTERESTS AND WHO TRULY CARES!"

Sincerely,

Stephen.
